Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Therapist (AMFT, ACSW, or APCC) to join our team in Duarte, CA. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing individual, couples, and group therapy to a diverse clientele. This role offers the flexibility to conduct sessions both in-person and via telehealth, allowing you to create a schedule that works for you.
Responsibilities:
* Provide individual, couples, and/or group therapy to clients with a variety of mental health concerns.
* Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
* Collaborate with the supervisor and other team members to ensure comprehensive client care.
* Participate in regular supervision meetings.
* Maintain compliance with all ethical and legal standards in California.
* Be willing to provide therapy in person at our Duarte, CA location, and via telehealth.
* Contribute to the growth and development of the practice.
Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
* Current registration or licensure as an AMFT, ACSW, or APCC in California.
* Experience or strong interest in providing individual, couples, and group therapy.
* Excellent clinical and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in telehealth platforms.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with specific populations or presenting problems (e.g., trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues).
* Experience running therapy groups.
* Bilingual abilities.
* Familiarity or training in 3rd wave therapies (e.g., ACT, DBT, MBCT).
