Mental Health Counselor

Presence of Mind Counseling is an outpatient mental health private practice located in Bowling Green, Ohio. Our approach is collaborative, individualized and holistic and seeks to help individuals in addressing mind, body and spirit with evidence-based practices. We are seeking either a 1) independently licensed practitioner who will be an independent contractor (IC) or 2) Dependently Licensed (LPC/LSW) therapist who would be an employee. Staff members get to create their own schedule. We are currently looking for staff to work in person at our office in Bowling Green, Ohio. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual, family, and couples counseling sessions with clients from diverse backgrounds
• Assess and diagnose mental health concerns and provide appropriate treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in counseling or social work
• Licensed in Ohio as a LPC or LSW
• Knowledge of mental health assessment tools and treatment modalities
• Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality
• Able to work independently

Preferred:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or social work or related field
• Independently Licensed (LISW, LPCC, Psychologist, IMFT)
• Experience in individual, couples therapy and diagnostic assessment

Pay: Independent contractors are paid on a percentage basis for claims received which is negotiable based on licensure, experience and caseload. Employees will be paid on a per hour basis.
