Reengagement Center is in south King County. YouthSource provides case management, education, training, and employment services to young people ages 16-24 years. This YouthSource Site Manager (Project Program Manager III) role requires a highly skilled leader who can lead a team of Social Service Professionals, Instructors and community partner staff while providing excellent customer service to young adults.

This recruitment is to fill a six-month Special Duty Acting (SDA) assignment that is anticipated to end November 14, 2025. This position will be required to be in-office/onsite full-time, telecommute is not an option. Interviews for this selection process will take place on or around May 15, 2025.

Work Schedule: This special duty acting position is exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not overtime eligible. Typical onsite hours are Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, telecommute is not an option.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Provide supervision and/or lead support to the YouthSource on site case management team and partner staff.
  • Ensure excellent customer service at YouthSource Tukwila, including resolving concerns with students, parents and community partners.
  • Provide leadership and day-to-day oversight of facility.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of community resources and services.
  • Support in the Management of the onsite Open Doors & WIOA programs in partnership with the Youthsource Program Director.
  • Maintain oversight of Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Pre-Employment Transition Services contract.
  • Facilitate and maintain strong community partnerships.
  • Provide oversight of the implementation of youth development programming schedule of events and ensure student's needs are being met.
  • Ensure staff adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Explore continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Review and use data for continuous quality improvement.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or related field. Increasingly responsible recent experience (within the last five years) in youth program management, planning, development, and implementation a nd/or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position. Experience should be specific to young people ages 16-24 years and in education and employment services.
  • Demonstrated lead experience and/or supervisory skills within a multidisciplinary and multi-agency team.
  • Knowledge and experience with Open Doors Reengagement, Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Pre-Employment Transition Services programs.
  • Ability to multitask and work in stressful situations involving youth.
  • Leads with equity, race and social justice principles and has at least five years experience working with Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) youth.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, including team building and team accountability.
  • Demonstrated team building skills with youth and adults.
  • Demonstrated experience in ensuring program compliance with contract policies, procedures, program requirements, and federal regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in gathering, maintaining, analyzing data and developing formal written reports for professional and community audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in 2010 Microsoft Word for Windows, Excel, and Access.
  • Ability to pass a post-offer/pre-hire Washington State Patrol background check.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS : Master's Degree in Social Work, Education or similar.
