Crisis Therapist Jobs in Newton, MA
A Crisis Therapist provides immediate mental health support to individuals in times of extreme psychological distress, such as during a mental health crisis, personal trauma, or following a catastrophic event. This professional is skilled in recognizing symptoms of severe stress or mental illness, and is trained to intervene effectively to alleviate immediate suffering and prevent future harm. Also, they must be licensed in their state to practice therapy, and some employers may require additional certifications in Crisis Intervention.
